The Lions Cord
Blood Foundation Inc. was initiated in 1996 by Lion Laurie Denton (deceased)
a former member of the Lions Club of Waverley Inc. It is managed by the
Lions Club of Waverley Inc. and is a District Project of 201V5. Since the
Multiple District Convention in Queensland in 2006 the Foundation is again a
Category B Project continuing through to 2009.

Aims of the Foundation
To supply the cryonic chambers for the
storage of collected stem cell packages.
Assist with equipment when requested by the Royal Children's Hospital
(Melbourne), the Box Hill Hospital in Box Hill and the William Angliss
Hospital in Ferntree Gully (suburbs of Melbourne).
